These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Simply Retreat’s website, products, and services. By using our website, purchasing our products, or engaging with our services, you agree to these terms.

Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.

2. Products

2.1 Physical Retreat Boxes

  • Prices are listed in NZD and include GST unless stated otherwise.

  • All orders are subject to availability.

Shipping & Delivery

  • We aim to dispatch orders within 3–5 business days.

  • Delivery delays due to postal service disruptions or events beyond our control are not our responsibility.

Returns & Damaged Items

  • Contact us within 5 days of delivery at hello@simplyretreat.org with photos if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Change of Mind

  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind.

  • This does not affect your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Product Disclaimer

  • Our products are designed to support wellbeing and reflection, not to diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions.

  • Consult a qualified health provider if you have underlying health concerns, sensitivities, or are pregnant.

2.2 Digital Products

  • Delivered electronically (toolkits, guides).

  • For personal use only—no copying, sharing, or reselling without permission.

  • All intellectual property remains with Simply Retreat.

  • Sales are final unless technical issues prevent delivery.

3. Services

3.1 In-Person Retreats & Events

  • Bookings require full payment or a non-refundable deposit (stated at checkout).

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations >30 days before the retreat: refund minus non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations ≤30 days: non-refundable unless place is filled from a waitlist.

  • You may transfer your place to someone else by notifying us in writing.

Unforeseen Events

  • If we cancel due to events outside our control (illness, government restrictions, venue closure), we will offer a rescheduled date or credit toward a future retreat.

  • No refunds if third-party costs have already been incurred.

Participant Expectations

  • You are responsible for your own travel unless otherwise stated.

  • Notify us of any accessibility or wellbeing needs in advance.

  • We reserve the right to remove participants for unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive behaviour.

3.2 Pre-Made Getaway Packages

  • Packages include accommodation and activities booked on your behalf.

  • Pricing, inclusions, and payment terms are listed at purchase.

  • All bookings are subject to availability and third-party provider terms.

Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancellations must follow the terms of the relevant third-party provider (airbnb, hotels, activities).

  • Simply Retreat is not responsible for third-party cancellations outside our control.

Responsibility

  • You are responsible for complying with local laws, safety guidelines, and any requirements from third-party providers.

4. Mailing List & Marketing

  • By subscribing, you consent to receive updates, offers, and news.

  • You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in emails or by contacting us.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content, products, and materials are protected by law.

  • No copying, adaptation, or sharing without written permission.

6. Participant Conduct

  • Safe, inclusive spaces are mandatory.

  • Discriminatory, harmful, or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal without refund.

  • We collect information you provide directly (contact, order details, accessibility info).

  • We also collect usage data via cookies and analytics.

  • Third-party services (payment processors, shipping providers, analytics tools) may access information to provide services.

  • Data is stored securely and retained per legal requirements.

  • Any disputes will be handled under New Zealand jurisdiction.

  • We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and resolve them within 20 business days where possible.
